05 : Never been in a relationship

Despite his dissatisfaction, Yin Luo obediently repeated everything Yin Yuzhou had said.

By the end, his voice was so sleepy it was almost slurred: "Brother, I know everything. I won't let anyone lie to me. Besides, I'm just going to meet him, I don't want to date him."

The boy's softened voice made the man feel a surge of affection, and he finally decided to let him sleep.

However, as soon as he got up, his gaze fell on the skin that should have been flawless, and his expression darkened again.

"Yin Yin, what happened to your neck?"

Yin Luo gave a soft "humph," like a sleepy kitten being lifted up by its owner: "I accidentally bumped it at the hospital at noon."

"Are you feeling unwell? Why did you go to the hospital?"

Yin Yuzhou's voice was tense. He didn't know what was wrong with him; he had never cared about Yin Luo's situation before, but now, even a red mark on the other's body would terrify him.

He was afraid that someone had bullied him.

"No… I just went to see Li Feiran, and then Duan—"

Yin Luo was interrupted by the system in his mind: [Host, host, be careful not to expose the mission!]

The mechanical voice brought Yin Luo back to his senses, and he changed his story: "Then, when I was playing with him, I accidentally bumped into it." The

boy didn't know what the mark on the back of his neck looked like—bright red, mottled, and even more ambiguous against his snow-white skin.

It was obviously done on him.

Yin Yuzhou's gaze turned sinister. He looked away, realizing he needed to be more careful with his younger brother in the future,

lest he be deceived by bad men.

Without saying anything more, he told Yin Luo to rest well and then left the room.

Yin Luo woke up at eight o'clock in the evening.

He was woken up by hunger.

When he went downstairs, no one was home, but they had left him dinner and cake. After eating a few bites, Yin Luo returned to his room, intending to call Shang Chengning to arrange a meeting.

"Hello."

The man answered the phone quickly.

Yin Luo told Shang Chengning who he was, expecting him to introduce himself as well, but instead, the other end suddenly asked, "Have you finished your milk?"

The voice had a barely perceptible upward inflection.

“Hmm…” Yinluo didn’t understand why he would ask this, but she still answered truthfully. He steered the conversation toward meeting, “I fell asleep, so we

probably can’t meet tonight. Are you free tomorrow?”

Shang Chengning was surprised.

He thought that someone as young as Yinluo would be very resistant to blind dates, and even if they did meet, they would chat online for a while beforehand.

“Aren’t you free tomorrow?”

Yinluo asked again, and this time the other party finally answered: “Yes, I’m free.”

“I’m free tomorrow.”

Yinluo complained to the system: [He’s 29, not 49, why are his ears not working properly?]

The system echoed: [Exactly~]

System: [But host, you only told me, so I can’t add any bullying points.]

Yinluo: [It’s not good to say he’s old on the first phone call, let’s save it for when we meet tomorrow.]

System: [Host is awesome~]

Yinluo showed a smug little expression on her face and said to the other end of the phone: “What time is it tomorrow?”

Shang Chengning noticed the change in the other party’s emotions.

Hearing that she was free, she seemed very happy.

Even the usually composed President Shang couldn’t help but smile.

The next day.

Yinluo had arranged to meet Shang Chengnin at 4 PM, but he stayed in bed until 3 PM.

The meeting place was a Chinese restaurant, about a half-hour drive from his home. Yinluo thought that if he went early, he would have an excuse to increase his "bullying points."

The afternoon temperature was high; Yinluo could feel the scorching sun on his skin as soon as he got out of the car. So he went back to the car, put on a light jacket, and quickened his pace inside.

Upon entering, the receptionist, a young woman in an elegant cheongsam, greeted him with a gentle smile: "Hello, do you have a reservation?"

Shang Chengnin had indeed made a reservation and even called to let him know. But what was the date again…? Yinluo pursed his lips.

He'd always had a bad memory, so he chose science in high school, only to find that science involved memorizing a lot of formulas.

Yinluo looked down, took out his phone, and was wondering whether to call Shang Chengnin to ask when a deep voice sounded behind him. It sounded

even more magnetic in the classically elegant Chinese restaurant.

"He's with me."

Yin Luo paused, then turned around to look.

He was a very distinguished man. His black shirt was buttoned tightly at the top, and behind his metal-framed glasses were a pair of narrow, sharp eyes. He had a

very handsome and serious appearance.

The system's voice

sounded promptly: [Host, target has appeared, Shang Chengnin.]

He's Shang Chengnin? Noticing that the other person's gaze was also on her face, Yin Luo asked, "Do you know me?"

Shang Chengnin: "I've seen a photo."

Yin Luo said "Oh."

Shang Chengnin was probably a regular at this restaurant; the receptionist immediately called a waiter to take them to a private room after seeing him.

The restaurant was called "Star Language," with a simple and elegant decor and a tranquil environment.

Because it was so quiet, Yin Luo didn't dare to speak and quietly followed behind the waiter.

Little did she know that her demure appearance with her eyelashes lowered was being observed by the tall man beside her.

Shang Chengnin had seen Yin Luo's photo.

But seeing her in person now, he realized that a photo could not possibly capture a person's true appearance.

The young man was extremely unphotogenic; his hair was very light-colored, suggesting he naturally had little pigmentation. His skin was so white it looked like milk had been poured directly onto it.

Of course, besides his appearance, he felt that Yin Luo possessed something more than most people he had met—a rare, vibrant life force that drew

people in .

"Your private room is here," the waiter said, opening the door and gesturing for him to enter.

Yin Luo then looked up at Shang Chengnin. The other man had already composed himself, revealing a refined and mature smile: "Come in."

The private room was spacious and bright. Yin Luo took off his coat and chose a seat.

Soon, Shang Chengnin followed suit.

What followed was the normal process of ordering, chatting, and eating. Time passed quickly.

Yin Luo had expected this blind date to be awkward, but the other man wasn't as rigid as he had imagined.

Shang Chengnin appears decisive and unapproachable, but he's actually quite gentlemanly and gentle. Moreover, men often look much younger than their actual age; it's just their mature and composed aura that makes them seem "old."

However, the "old" that Yin Luo speaks of is interpreted differently by most people

—as a highly eligible bachelor .

Yin Luo, remembering Yin Yuzhou's words, glanced at the time.

It was time to go back.

Shang Chengnin noticed his movement and stood up, asking, "Going back?"

"Yes."

Yin Luo picked up his coat, and the two left the private room.

Having spent so much time with his target today, he hadn't gained a single point of bullying. Seeing the opportunity

slip away, Yin Luo helplessly called out to the system: [What about the bullying points? He's rich and good-looking; I can't even complain about him.]

System: [Waaah, host, don't be fooled by appearances~]

Yin Luo didn't understand: [Did he have plastic surgery?]

[...]

The system was silent for a few seconds: [No, he didn't.] [

Shang Chengning only seems gentlemanly and polite now, but he's actually full of bad intentions. In the end, he'll be the one who's the most ruthless to you out of the three.]

Yin Luo had only accepted the mission and hadn't listened carefully to the system's explanation of the consequences of being a villain. Now, startled by the system's words, he felt a chill run down his spine: [...How will he punish me?]

System: [I have a virtual image here. Would you like to see it, host?]

Although Yin Luo was somewhat afraid, his curiosity ultimately prevailed, and he immediately agreed: [Let me see it.]

As soon as he finished speaking, something like a display screen appeared in his mind.

On the screen, "he" was huddled in a corner of the room, wearing only a loose white shirt, revealing several marks on his exposed skin. "He" looked like he was trembling, as if someone had forced "him" into this corner.

"His" hair was soaked with sweat, sticking stickily to his cheeks, his eyes were filled with wet, red tears, and his lips were also red, as if he had been bullied badly.

Even his voice was trembling with tears: "No...don't do this..."

Yin Luo: "!"

The boy's face turned pale instantly. After a long silence, he slowly said: [I just disliked him, I didn't have any major grudge against him.]

[Why did you torture me like this?]

Yin Luo couldn't understand what kind of punishment it was, and thought the other party was humiliating him: [Even the clothes you're given are so tattered? And you're abusing me?!]

System: [There's something even worse, but I won't show it to the host...]

I'm afraid you'll be scared, so I'm abandoning the mission.

Thinking about what would happen to him in the future, Yin Luo's face became even paler. He lowered his head, and his mood became depressed.

Shang Chengning noticed and looked down at him: "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

The deep and pleasant voice he had just heard now sounded like the whisper of a devil to Yin Luo. He didn't want to talk to him, and replied perfunctorily, "A little."

Shang Chengnin stopped. "Do you want me to take you home? You can stay in your room—"

Hearing the word "room," Yin Luo once again thought of the scene of being bullied terribly, and immediately frowned, looking up: "You've never been in a relationship?"

Shang Chengnin was stunned for a moment, and then answered truthfully: "No."

29 years old and never been in a relationship? No wonder he's a pervert.

He likes to torment others.

Yin Luo's expression gradually became arrogant: "If you've been in a relationship, you'll know that some things shouldn't be asked, but done directly."

After he finished speaking, he felt that he had won the round, and walked straight ahead without looking at the person behind him.

After a while, the footsteps behind him got closer and closer.

Shang Chengnin seemed to have caught up.

A somewhat cold voice came from behind: "Have you been in many relationships?"

Yin Luo didn't expect him to ask her in return, and subconsciously said: "...What?"

At this moment, the man had already stood on the same side, his tall figure blocking most of the light, enveloping Yin Luo in shadow.

Including the several clearly visible marks on the back of his neck.

"You have hickeys on your neck."

Shang Chengnin's cold voice carried a hint of unreadable emotion. "It looks like...you were pinned against a wall and then...you were sucked on."
