17 : Soft and fluffy
After replying to Duan Muze's message in, Yin Luo opened another chat window.
The "old man" had sent a photo of a neatly arranged bracelet.
Shang Chengnin: [What do you think?]
He probably bought it as a gift for family members but was worried about aesthetics, so he specifically asked for Yin Luo's opinion. Yin Luo opened the photo and looked at it carefully. To be honest, the bracelet Shang Chengnin sent was quite pretty, delicate, with a small planet pendant.
But if he praised it, he wouldn't be a villain.
[Why do you old people all like these sparkly things? They're so ugly.]
He didn't hold back in his criticism.
It was probably late at night, as there was no reply.
Yin Luo put away her phone, rested her chin on her hand, and prepared to watch the game.
Lu
Ran returned to the basketball court with a tense expression. His teammates greeted him, "Hey, Ran-ge, the game's about to start, where have you been?"
Lu Ran replied, "Nothing."
"Why the serious look?" His teammates, assuming he was nervous about the upcoming game, said confidently, "Hey, those weaklings on the other side, all skinny and weak, we'll definitely win, don't worry."
"Of course, with Ran-ge on our team, we're halfway there."
"Let's show them what we're made of today!"
Everyone encouraged each other, but Lu Ran didn't speak. He glanced towards the stands, and only when he saw the boy sitting obediently in his seat in the corner, wearing his black jacket, did his tightly pursed lips slightly curve into a smile.
"Holy crap, Ran-ge, why are you laughing so disgustingly all of a sudden? What are you looking at? Did you see a pretty girl?"
Lu Ran lifted his eyelids, reverting to his usual cool and aloof demeanor: "Of course, a stunning beauty."
Hearing this, everyone looked towards the stands, jeering: "Which one? Let me see."
Wen Xinyan stared for a while, then whispered to Lu Ran, "Hey, which one is the one who took your towel? Let me see what she looks like."
Lu Ran remembered the person who had chatted up Yin Luo earlier, and suddenly felt a protective instinct, so he frowned and shooed everyone away: "A stunning beauty is not someone you can look at! Let's go, let's go, the game has started."
The basketball game ended in just forty minutes.
The two teams had often played together before, and there was indeed a difference in skill, but it shouldn't have lasted less than an hour.
The main reason was Lu Ran.
Lu Ran's athletic ability was excellent; his agility
and height advantage already surpassed many people, but today he seemed to be letting loose.
Every move was fierce and swift, eliciting continuous screams from the sidelines.
"You little rascal! You've been hiding your true strength!"
"So you only used three-tenths of your strength when you played against us all this time."
"But we won so satisfyingly! You didn't even look at the other side, you saw Ran-ge like you saw a wolf, you were so scared you just let him win, hahaha!"
Wen Xinyan didn't think the analogy was appropriate. Rather than a wolf, it was more like a peacock displaying its plumage, all showy to attract a mate.
Thinking of this, he glanced at the stands.
The match had ended, and some people were leaving, while many girls in the front row were eager to bring him water. In an instant, the court was packed with people, most of them heading towards Lu Ran.
Wen Xinyan was overwhelmed and asked the person next to him, "Hey, did the guy with the towel come to bring you water?"
Just as he finished asking, he saw Lu Ran walk past the group of people bringing him water and walk alone to a corner of the stands, stopping in front of a boy.
The boy had light-colored hair, very fair skin, and was more than half a head shorter than Lu Ran. Standing together, his figure and face were almost completely obscured.
Hmm?
Is this the guy with the towel?
Wen Xinyan took a few steps to the side, and his breath hitched when he saw that face.
No wonder.
Looking like that, no wonder the usually nonchalant Lu Ran had become such a peacock.

Because of his sensitive constitution, Yin Luo rarely went to crowded places, and mostly went to school alone to avoid contact with others.
This time, thanks to the allergy medication, he was able to sit in a crowd and watch an entire game without any worries.
This was undoubtedly a novel experience, so when Lu Ran walked towards him, Yin Luo cheerfully handed him a bottle of water.
Lu Ran was taken aback.
The pleasure of being favored by a beauty made the usually cool-faced boy smile: "You even prepared water for me?"
Yin Luo unscrewed the cap: "Do you want some?"
Lu Ran smiled and reached out to take it.
Yin Luo loosened her grip a little, tilting the bottle, and the spilled water landed on Lu Ran's arm.
[Bullying Value +10!] Yin
Luo pressed her advantage, her face fierce: "Did you do this on purpose? If you don't want it, fine."
[Bullying Value +2!]
It's so easy to fleece a little lamb once it's fattened up.
Yin Luo was going to love him to death.
Lu Ran didn't realize Yin Luo was doing it on purpose at all, and didn't care about the water on his arm. He immediately took the water from her hand, then took the towel off his neck and handed it to her.
Yin Luo was puzzled: "What are you doing?"
Lu Ran: "Your fingers are wet too, wipe them off."
He was so considerate that Yin Luo felt embarrassed to be fierce to him, so she took the towel from him. Just as she was about to wipe the water off her hands, she suddenly stopped, as if she remembered something: "Did you use this to wipe your sweat?"
Lu Ran: "I haven't used it yet."
Yin Luo was always picky and felt that the towel must be sweaty since it was taken from his neck: "I don't want it."
Lu Ran raised his eyebrows: "Why are you complaining? Didn't you take my towel in the dorm? Didn't you drink water from my cup?"
Yin Luo paused.
Drinking water from my cup was something he did unintentionally.
One morning, he woke up early. Still not fully awake after washing up, he groggily walked to his seat, took out his water cup, and took a small sip. Suddenly, a voice behind him said, "Why are you drinking from my cup?"
Startled, he realized he was in Lu Ran's bed. Turning around, he saw Lu Ran standing there with his arms crossed, looking at him.
A surge of heat rushed to his head. He feigned composure and said cheekily, "Who asked you to put it on the table!"
Lu Ran hadn't said anything then, and he'd assumed the other didn't care, but now he was bringing it up. This made Yin Luo's ears and cheeks burn again. He threw a towel at him, changing the subject, "It's covered in your sweat, it stinks! I don't need it."
Just as he finished speaking, he felt a force pull him up by the shoulder. Lu Ran leaned in, pressing him into his arms, jokingly laughing, "Come here and smell me, do I smell bad?"
Yin Luo was much shorter than him, and the seat behind him blocked his way, leaving him trapped in Lu Ran's embrace.
The boy had just finished exercising, his arms completely exposed, a layer of sweat glistening on his smooth, muscular physique. Yin Luo couldn't avoid it; his cheeks, earlobes, and neck were brushed against.
He tried desperately to push forward with both hands, but the other didn't budge, instead pressing down on his wrist with one hand.
Lu Ran squeezed his wrist: "Why is it so thin? Don't you eat? Where did all the meat go?"
He expected Yin Luo to be angry and embarrassed, but the voice that came from behind was soft and weak: "How come I don't have any meat..."
The obedient look made
Lu Ran's eyelids twitch.
The boy had probably struggled for too long; his small face was flushed. He was currently breathing softly with his lips slightly parted.
The breathing was very soft, but Lu Ran could hear it clearly; it sounded like he couldn't bear something, muffled and damp, with a slightly trembling nasal tone.
It made his heart tremble along with it.
He had seen Yin Luo come out of the bathroom before—because it was summer, Yin Luo was only wearing a long T-shirt, and his exposed skin was as smooth and white as jade. His legs were thin and long.
Her face was so small, her wrists so thin, her waist so thin, and her legs so slender—where had all the fat gone?
The scene in his memory continued to play—Yinluo, who had been wearing a long T-shirt, suddenly climbed onto the bed. The shirt, which had originally covered her thighs and looked quite normal, was now much shorter because of her bent-over posture, and ended up twisting upwards along her waistline, outlining curves he had never seen before.
"Quick, quick, let go..." Yinluo almost pleaded.
For some reason, Lu Ran suddenly released his grip.
Freed from restraint and threat, Yinluo's spoiled brat temper was exposed, and she slapped Lu Ran hard across the face.
However, his wrist was still sore from the slap, and he had no strength at all; even the slap was soft and limp, and carried a fragrance.
Lu Ran tensed up.
—This wasn't the first time.
He said he was straight, but when facing Yinluo, he shamefully experienced some physical changes.
Especially when Yinluo's palm touched his face just now, even the flesh of the boy's palm smelled sweet and soft.
He had a slightly perverse urge to make Yinlu slap him again.
"You're so annoying." Lu Ran remained expressionless and silent for a while after the slap. Yinlu thought he had gone too far, so he shrugged and his voice lost its previous force. "You started it."
The ambiguity in his words made Lu Ran take a deep breath. If this continued, he would embarrass himself, so he immediately changed the subject: "The team is having a dinner later, want to go?"
Seeing that his tone was normal, Yinlu immediately reverted to his spoiled manner: "No."
Lu Ran persuaded: "Going back to the dorm is boring, come with me."
Yinlu: "Your team is having a dinner, what would I do there?"
"You can bring your family." Lu Ran pondered for a moment, then changed his mind, "Bringing friends is fine too."
Seeing that Yinlu's expression softened a bit, he continued: "We're such good friends, and you came all this way to watch my game, of course I
have to treat you to dinner."
Little Sheep is so silly.
Treating the person who always bullies him as a friend.
Yinlu pursed his lips.
Ultimately, she succumbed to her soft heart: "Is it far?"
Lu Ran's eyes lit up instantly: "Not far, it's near the back gate of the school."
Yin Luo hummed in agreement, then felt her head being roughly rubbed.
"From now on, if you mistakenly accept the wrong towel, just use it, I don't mind. You can use anything else as well."
"Who wants to use your towel?"
"This one's for you too."
"No, it's all sweaty and stinks."
...
Under the bright sunlight, two boys with different builds stood side by side. They seemed to have a good relationship; the light-haired boy had his arm around the shoulder of the tall boy in a basketball uniform, his eyes incredibly beautiful.
It was a warm and youthful scene.
Not far away, outside the playground separated by a wire fence, a black sedan was parked.
The atmosphere inside the car was tense. The man swiped his phone screen with his long fingers, opening a photo in the chat window.
The boy in the photo was being held in another man's arms.
Duan Muze, his face cold, turned off his phone and turned his head.
Looking through the car window from this angle, it looked as if Yin Luo was being held in the man's arms and kissed.
A moment later, the coldness on his face deepened
