48 : Song chi is is Gay

Homophobic? Song Shi's mind was completely occupied by this sentence, and he could no longer hear what others were saying.

Chen Zhoumu was homophobic. He knew that the other party might not like boys, but he didn't know that the other party was like this. If the other party knew his sexual orientation, or if the other party knew that he seemed to like him,

what would Chen Zhoumu do? Would he be disgusted or repulsed? Or would he just remove him from his life forever?

Song Shi lowered his eyes slightly. He didn't dare to think too deeply. Perhaps he should have known how the other party viewed this kind of thing earlier.

The voices in his ears continued, but Song Shi actually had a feeling of wanting to escape.

"How do you know that Brother Mu is homophobic?" one of the ninjas next to him asked.

The person who had spoken earlier seemed to have anticipated the question. He lowered his head again, his voice even softer: "Back then, it was the first year of high school. Mu-ge had just transferred and was immediately targeted. I remember it caused quite a stir. A boy confessed to him, and Mu-ge clearly stated he liked girls, but he didn't give up after being rejected."

"Until one time at a party, that guy got Mu-ge drunk and tried to forcibly kiss him. Of course, he didn't succeed and even lost a leg. From then on, rumors spread that Mu-ge hated homosexuals."

"Although I wasn't at that party, this story still seems quite true. After all, it's a given that Mu-ge likes girls."

"Indeed, a manly man like Mu-ge shouldn't become gay, right?"

Song Shi's palms unconsciously clenched when he heard the last two words. If that was the case, so be it. He and Chen Zhoumu were definitely going to break up.

"So you're quite surprised to see you two so close, and... have you seen the photos in that post?"

The person cautiously glanced at Song Shi. As a transfer student, Song Shi didn't have much contact with his classmates, so many people's impression of him was that of a quiet, cool, handsome guy, and rumored to be a formidable fighter.

Such people were generally avoided; if it weren't for his good relationship with Chen Zhoumu, they might never have spoken a word to him.

Moreover, Song Shi was sitting alone on Chen Zhoumu's bed, while the others sat on stools beside him, and his expression grew increasingly cold and emotionless.

This was quite intimidating, so after asking, the person didn't do anything but follow instructions.

Song Shi shook his head slightly, then said, "Let me see."

Without a word, the person pulled up the CP post they had accidentally discovered, randomly clicked on one, and handed it to the person.

Sure enough, the content was almost identical to the description, and also similar to the things He Xi had shown him last time—those short essays.

Now, some photos have been added—those he hasn't seen before, those taken very close up, those taken at suggestive angles.

The door behind him opened with a sound, and the person who had spoken in front reached for their phone, but seeing that Song Shi didn't move, they withdrew their hand.

Footsteps slowly approached, and then the blanket beside them slowly sank in. Just before the other person leaned in to look, Song Shi handed the phone back.

"What are you looking at?" Chen Zhoumu hadn't actually seen what was on the screen, but he didn't really care.

"Nothing." Song Shi pushed the other person's head away: "Move over, you stink."

Actually, the other person didn't smell much, probably just the scent of the gardenia laundry detergent he always used, but Song Shi's mood wasn't good right now. He didn't even want to see the other person, or rather, he didn't know how to face them.

He was completely torn apart, his mind filled with thoughts that felt like it was splitting him in two. Chen Zhoumu had always been good to him, he knew that, because the other person considered him a good friend.

What would Chen Zhoumu do if one day he discovered that the transfer student he had taken care of for so long was actually a perverted guy who liked boys? Would he still say those words, "I'll stand by your side without hesitation"?

The person next to him didn't know what they had just been talking about, but upon hearing Song Shi's words, he subconsciously sniffed himself.

"I do smell a bit sweaty.

Wait a minute, I'm going to take a shower." Before anyone could answer, he grabbed his clothes and went back to the bathroom.

After Chen Zhoumu finished getting ready, only Song Shi was left outside. He walked in, drying his hair.

Since no one was around, he stepped forward and slightly closed the door: "It's hot. The air conditioning is on, so you should close the door." Before Song Shi could react, a shadow fell over him. Chen Zhoumu was already standing in front of him, his hands on his knees, looking at him.

Seeing Song Shi looking over, he raised his eyebrows and smiled: "Now smell me again, do I smell good?"

"..."

Half a minute later, Song Shi replied: "Go dry your hair."

Chen Zhoumu had his hair cut short after being brought back to the capital, and now it was even shorter than before. Combined with the weather here, his hair dried quickly.

After he finished drying his hair, the two discussed buying him a new phone. His mother had thrown away his old phone in Xia City, and after returning from Beijing to Xia City, he rushed to Yang City for the competition class, so he hadn't had time to buy a new one.

Nothing had changed in Yang City during the months Song Shi had been away, and they strolled through the familiar streets with Chen Zhoumu.

Chen Zhoumu didn't know much about phones; he thought anything that could contact people was enough. But this time, when the salesperson asked what model he liked, he subconsciously glanced at the phone in Song Shi's hand.

Song Shi's phone wasn't a new model, but it wasn't cheap either. In the end, Chen Zhoumu bought the same phone as Song Shi. The new model of Song Shi's phone had a couple's version.

But Chen Zhoumu still bought the same model as Song Shi, without any other thoughts; he just wanted to use the same thing as him.

No matter what, even the blankets provided for everyone in the competition class, the thought of him using the same one as Song Shi kept him uneasy.

Song Shi waited for the person to choose their phone and pay. Luckily, when the phone was thrown away, only the phone itself was damaged; the SIM card was found and given to Song Shi by Tan Xiuyuan.

He watched as the other person reinserted the SIM card, and messages popped up one after another. On their way back to school from the phone store, the two encountered Zhang Jingxiao and Tan Qi. Zhang Jingxiao

was holding an ice cream in one hand and a cola in the other, while Tan Qi, standing beside her, carried a small shoulder bag that clearly belonged to Zhang Jingxiao.

The person eating and walking didn't forget to hand the cola to the person walking beside her.

Although she handed it casually, the person always managed to precisely suck on the straw.

Zhang Jingxiao spotted them first, shoving her iced drink into Tan Qi's hand and then pulling her other hand as she ran over.

"You guys are here too! To be honest, the ice cream here is so much better than in Xia City!"

"Eat less." Tan Qi put her hand in her pocket, pulled out a tissue, and handed it to Zhang Jingxiao.

Zhang Jingxiao took it and wiped her hand haphazardly: "I know! Qi Zi, you're even more nagging than my mom!"

Then she turned to look at them again: "So, what are you doing here?"

"Buying a phone." Chen Zhoumu fiddled with the things in his hands.

The person in front nodded; "That's right, Auntie is still too scary..." Before she could finish speaking, she suddenly leaned closer to Song Shi, then her nose twitched as she sniffed something.

Tan Qi, standing behind her, paused, as did Chen Zhoumu in front of her. Both of them reached out to pull Zhang Jingxiao away, but Tan Qi's outstretched hand was intercepted a second later by Chen Zhoumu.

He pulled Zhang Jingxiao's collar back and pulled her back, with an unusual seriousness: "What are you doing?"

Zhang Jingxiao wasn't annoyed at being pulled away. After her collar was lowered and she was straightened by the person behind her, she said: "Actually, I've wanted to ask for a long time, Song Shi, why do you always smell like Brother Mu?" "

?"

"..."

Yes, Chen Zhoumu always hand-washed her outer clothes and used the same laundry detergent as her, so it was normal for them to smell the same.

But now that Zhang Jingxiao brought it up so suddenly, it seemed like something had suddenly changed.

"Oh, he ran out of laundry detergent, so I lent it to him," Chen Zhoumu explained, glancing at the person standing to the side whose expression was starting to look a little awkward.

Zhang Jingxiao was clearly a very perceptive person, but she didn't point it out. Since the two of them didn't want to talk about it, she just smiled and let it go, only sighing that there hadn't been any amazing pictures lately.

After saying goodbye, Song Shi and the others walked towards their dorm. When they reached his room, the person behind him didn't seem to want to leave, so he turned around: "I'm here, you can go now."

"What? Can't I go in now?"

Song Shi rolled his eyes at him, then opened the door, and the two of them walked into the room one after the other. The room, which hadn't been tidied up yet, was very neat, with only a few things on the table.

Chen Zhoumu sat down on the chair without any hesitation. Song Shi, who was sweating a little from the heat, was about to take a shower. Chen Zhoumu tossed him the remote control: "Turn on the air conditioner."

"Okay."

The sound of water starting in the bathroom began. Chen Zhoumu looked around the room with a bored expression, his eyes sweeping over the bed. He raised an eyebrow at the neatly folded blankets.

His childhood friend actually knew how to put on a duvet cover? Chen Zhoumu walked closer to see how well he had done it, but as soon as he picked it up, he felt something was very wrong.

Looking at the bulging mess inside the duvet cover, Chen Zhoumu smiled. While it wasn't wrong in itself, Song Shi seemed to have reversed the length and width, making the duvet cover look long and the duvet filling short.

Chen Zhoumu pulled the contents out, quickly put the cover on, and then folded it neatly again, as if it hadn't been touched.

The bathroom door hadn't opened yet. Chen Zhoumu sat back down on the chair, put it down, and his phone vibrated in his pocket. He took it out.

It was a text message, from an unknown number.

The message was a photo. Chen Zhoumu clicked on it, somewhat confused. The person in the photo was none other than Song Shi; the other person was blurred out.

Even so, the palpable ambiguity between the two was undeniable. Chen Zhoumu gritted his teeth, wondering who the other person was and why they had sent the photo.

His phone vibrated with a new text message:

【Song Shi is gay.】
